Depart Arusha after breakfast and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds and ancient baobab trees. The park offers some of Tanzania's most spectacular wildlife viewing outside the Serengeti.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Early breakfast before descending 600m into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive. The crater floor hosts approximately 25,000 large animals including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalos, and flamingos in the soda lake. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers the best chance to see the Big Five in a single day. Picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending and driving back to Arusha, arriving late afternoon.
